TopPicks

Reading the last Coverage pass.

Reading the filings. Same two gates as Search — this is not a second model.

On the bar, this print.

Every named name on Coverage is scored each day. Only those that clear the three-factor screen (Fwd P/E ≤ 20 on delayed Yahoo — price ÷ Yahoo forward EPS; trailing vs forward differing by more than 20% is flagged, not silent — net margin ≥ 15% for an operating company; Yahoo ROA ≥ 1% for a bank — NI / NII is not a manufacturer's 15% test; net income / revenue for underwriters when Yahoo omits the print, omitted for REITs — ROIC ≥ 15% — NOPAT / (equity + debt − cash); ROE ≥ 15% for banks and underwriters; the capital box fails on negative book or P/B above 10, and missing prints fail), quality sleeve ≥ 70 (so cheapness cannot carry the 80/20 mix), blended score ≥ 70 (80/20 minus named flag deductions — the headline reprints from the two sleeves), at least 30% below estimated value, and the independent reprint sit here. A published estimate is Base = min(desk, 1.25× the Street target) when the desk sat above that cap (Yahoo mean when the median is a rounded dollar) so a 30% discount cannot be manufactured by a high multiple. When the cap does not bind, Base equals the desk Bull print — a stored Base above the current desk is stale and is not published. Independent means the engine runs those rules a second time before publish — Search, TopPicks, Alerts, Ask, and notifications share that pass: the three boxes plus both number gates, that MOS and 80/20 match the arithmetic, and that the industry/units model is the right one, including a dated Yahoo quote and no quarterly YoY as annual growth. Delayed Yahoo is the live source for US and local listings; an empty Alpha Vantage print is not a fail. PEG is a Lynch tape print — not a Pass box and not a fourth vote in any average. Forward P/E ≤ 20 is the entry gate on this list on purpose: quality-adjusted earnings power values names already on the page; a 24× compounder stays off by design. A name can stay for weeks. You do not get mail for staying. Names that miss the scan never appear here. Names that later miss a gate are not erased — they sit on Track record as Dropped off, with the first-clear date and the print then versus now (not an exit return). MOS is versus the published Base estimate only — never versus the house Bull print before the Street rule. Named sector flags (pipeline, patent book, for-profit education, auto OEM, cycle semis, customer-concentrated design houses, heavy SBC) sit under the score; they print Size-limit, not a clean Pass. A bank without CET1/NPL/NIM/CRE stays Watchlist — not a published Pass. Max buy is 70% of Base. Screening finds candidates. The same bar as Search — not a recommendation to buy or sell. Past results do not guarantee future results.

Mail when a name first clears is on Alerts— Today / this week / last month. Names that later miss a gate sit on Track record as Dropped off — first-clear date and the print then versus now, not an exit return. Not a second copy of this list.

Risk warning. Sick of Gurus is an AI analysis tool. It applies a published value-investing method — quality of the business first, then a margin of safety — to delayed quotes and filed fundamentals. It is not a broker, not a bank, not a hedge fund, not a registered investment adviser, and not an analyst. Scores, intrinsic-value estimates, Guru Take, Top Picks, alerts, Track record, and portfolio snapshots are general educational information. They are not personal advice, they do not take a reader’s personal circumstances, tax, or risk capacity into account, and they are not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Past results do not guarantee future results. You can lose money, including the entire value of an equity. Figures are as of the timestamp on each print. Quotes are delayed. Fundamentals are the latest filed period. There is no obligation to update a snapshot after it is published. The operator of this desk may hold, or may have held, names that appear on public lists. Personal holdings do not move the published bar.
